1. Theater Critic Ben Brantley posted an article about the ongoing battle between Trump and the lead cast member of Hamilton. Trump tweeted “The theater must always be a safe and special place.” Brantley quoted deceased playwright Edward Albee stating that theater — or theater as an enduring art, as opposed to an evening’s entertainment — should be anything but safe.
2. A Trump supporter started screaming obscenities from the balcony at a Chicago performance of hamilton. Leading some cast members to tears.
